The silicone keypad should be defined against the cover, bezel, housing or other rigid structure that locates it in the device.
Before tooling, the drawing should make the keypad opening, locating relationship, alignment and visible gaps clear. The physical sample is then used to confirm the agreed assembled interface.

Keep Numeric, Symbol and Function Markings Clear
Numbers, symbols and function markings should follow the approved artwork and remain correctly positioned within the final keypad layout.
Depending on the approved component design, the finishing route may include silicone printing, laser engraving, spray coating or UV printing.
Color zones or other visual cues can be included as buyer-defined appearance requirements.
